Kimera Labs Sets the Standard in Exosome Biotechnology

The leading exosome biotechnology laboratory advancing exosome science through innovation, precision manufacturing, and the development of MSC-derived technologies for cosmetic and research applications.

Founded in 2012 by Duncan Ross, Ph.D., Kimera Labs has been the leader in the field of MSC exosome production and isolation. Unlike biologic tissue laboratories that manufacture exosome products by direct processing of donor tissues such as adult bone marrow or placenta, Kimera Labs produces MSC exosomes from isolated mesenchymal stem cells cultures using chemically defined media, which contains no animal or human serum, following regulations laid out by the FDA.

Using advanced proprietary exosome isolation and manufacturing technologies, Kimera Labs develops high-purity MSC-derived exosome products at scale to support cosmetic innovation, scientific research, and future clinical development. Through rigorous quality standards, precision manufacturing, and continuous scientific advancement, we are helping expand the possibilities of exosome biotechnology.

Kimera Labs utilizes a comprehensive suite of advanced characterization technologies to verify the identity, purity, potency, and consistency of its exosome products. These include ELISA protein analysis, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), RNA sequencing, Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA), atomic force microscopy (AFM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and dSTORM super-resolution fluorescence microscopy. Combined with robust quality management systems and batch-specific testing, these technologies help ensure the exceptional quality and consistency that define the Kimera standard.
